Add New Learners
Add individual learners
On the Learners page click Add Learners to visit the learner creation form.
This form requires at least an email address to create a new learner, although it is recommended to add the learner's name.
If your portal has training packages with open places for users those packages will be listed in the Training list. Once a training package (or packages) is selected the Courses list will show available courses.
Select any relevant training and courses to enrol the new learner.
Check the Send an invitation link via email to send an email to the new learner with a link to your portal where they can complete their account setup and access their training.
If you don't check this checkbox you can still send the invitation from the learner's Details page at any time.
The learner list will show (unverified) until the learner has logged in for the first time.
Bulk import
It's possible to bulk import learners via Settings > Import Users.
To successfully import users a CSV file must be uploaded which contains the following columns, named exactly:
Email
FirstName
LastName
A .csv file can be created from Excel (or similar programs) by saving as .csv (comma delimited).
Similar to the create learner form, at least the email address is required, but first and last names are recommended.
A message will be shown after importing if it was successful or if there were any errors.
Check the Learners page to confirm that the import was successful.
