Advanced Course Settings
Request enrolment
Turning on this setting (if self-enrol is off) will replace the enrol button with a Request Enrolment button.
If a user requests enrolment an email will be sent to the email address saved in the portal settings.
The learner will be able to see that the course has been requested.
Course resource access
Some courses may have additional resources, such as videos and documents. This setting determines whether these resources are available to anyone viewing the course (i.e. public) or only accessible by learners who are enrolled in the course.
Completion certificate
Turn this setting on to award a certificate to the learner when the course is completed.
The certificate can be customised in the portal settings.
Allow review after completion
This setting determines if a learner can re-launch a course after it has been completed.
Re-launching the course won't affect its data or status.
Validity/Expiry
Some courses may need to be redone after a period of time, or may expire. This setting allows administrators to set a number of days until the course enrolment status changes to Expired.
Leave it blank to maintain the completion status indefinitely.
Changes to this setting will only affect enrolments completed after that point. Please contact us if you need to apply expiry dates to existing enrolments.
Completion notification
An email can be sent to the nominated email address when a learner completes the course.
The email will include the learner's name and the course name.
Multiple email addresses can be provided, separated by comma.
Forms
If any forms have been created in the portal they can be selected to show as part of the course.
The Feature Form is included as a part of the course details page for enrolled learners.
The Pre Start Form will be shown when the learner launches the course.
The Post Completion Form will be shown when the user finishes the course.
Remove from training after completion
As training packages usually have a user limit, this setting enables you to automatically remove the learner from the training package when they complete the course. This frees up a seat for a new learner.
