Manage Subscriptions & Portals
What are subscriptions?
Subscriptions have been designed to enable training providers to deliver training directly to their customers (or via a public storefront) on monthly or annual subscriptions.
Plans
Plans determine the pricing and limitations for a portal accessing the training package. Plans also determine how Kuro bills the provider, based on the number of users included in the plan.
Price
This is the amount that will be charged to the portal each billing period interval.
Currency
This is the currency that the price will be charged in. This can not be changed once the plan is created.
Tax calculation
This setting determines if the final price is modified to add tax, and how tax is displayed on the receipt.
Max active users
This is the number of "seats" available in the training for the billing period.
Billing period
This setting determines how often the portal pays and how often Kuro charges for the subscription. The price should be set to reflect the billing period selected.
Trial period
Set a number of days before the initial charge is made. The plan can be cancelled within the trial period without incurring any costs.
Hidden plan
Hidden plans will not be listed in the pricing section on the marketplace page.
Featured plan
Featured plans will be highlighted/outlined on the marketplace page. Best used in combination with the Label to show recommended plans.
