Throughout the module, you will learn to recognise the signs and symptoms of various cardiac conditions, understand the appropriate first aid responses, and apply life-saving techniques until professional medical help arrives. Learning outcomes: - understand workplace first aid procedures - define the roles and responsibilities of first aiders - recognise the signs and symptoms of common cardiac conditions - demonstrate proper techniques for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) - know the steps to take when encountering a conscious or unconscious person with a suspected cardiac condition - identify the appropriate first aid measures for individuals experiencing chest pain and discomfort.
