This module provides learners the knowledge and skills to effectively manage common soft tissue injuries, including sprains, strains, bruises, and eye injuries. You will learn about the causes, symptoms, and appropriate first aid interventions for soft tissue injuries. This module highlights the importance of prompt assessment, proper treatment techniques, and preventing further complications. Learning outcomes: - understand workplace first aid procedures - define the roles and responsibilities of first aiders - recognise the signs and symptoms of sprains, strains, bruises, and eye injuries - perform initial assessments and examinations of soft tissue injuries - know how to apply appropriate first aid techniques to manage soft tissue injuries - identify appropriate measures for preventing further injury or worsening of symptoms.
