- assess the risks associated with various bites and stings, and understand the potential complications
- know how to apply proper first aid techniques for bites and stings
- recognise signs and symptoms of severe allergic reactions and anaphylaxis related to bites and stings
- implement appropriate response strategies to provide immediate care and minimise complications
- understand the importance of seeking professional medical help, knowing when to escalate the situation, and ongoing monitoring and follow-up care for bite and sting incidents.
