Overview


This module is for anyone working with and around forklifts, including operators. It covers forklift safety, awareness of worker responsibilities and conducting operational inspections.




Learning Outcomes


After completion of this course, you should be able to:
- identify forklift parts and the legal requirements for forklift operation;
- recognise work hazards and safety issues;
- know how to conduct daily pre-operational and operational checklists;
- understand safe work operations and practices; and
- know how to conduct a risk assessment and implement control measures.
