About this course
The purpose of the Electrical Safety Act is directed at eliminating the human cost to individuals, families and the community of death, injury and destruction that can be caused by electricity. This Electrical Safety Awareness training for Non-Electrical Workers is intended to provide knowledge of electrical hazards and provide basic information on working safely around electricity and electrical systems. Lessons covered in this course are: 1. Introduction to Electrical Safety 2. How to Manage Electrical Risk 3. Electrical Hazards & Risk Controls 4. First Aid 5. Interactive Scenarios Course Learning Outcomes: After completion of this course the learner should be able to: - Understand legislation for managing electrical risks - Understand the basics of electricity - Understand the effects of electricity on the body - Understand the process of risk management - Identify electrical hazards - Report incidents
