About this course
This module will introduce you to work health and safety for managers. This eLearning module aims to strengthen your awareness of your responsibilities and duties in complying with the WHS Act by providing information on the obligations related to your role as a manager under the WHS Act 2011. Understanding the WHS Act and its responsibilities helps protect the health, safety and welfare of workers and other persons in workplaces against harm from hazards and risks. Learning Outcomes After completion of this module, you should be able to: - list duty holders and their responsibilities - identify key parts of the WHS Act that are significant to you and your role as a manager - discuss the importance of participation, consultation and communication in the context of the WHS Act and safety management - understand the significance of having a safe and healthy workplace.
