This module is designed to raise awareness of psychosocial hazards in the workplace, providing an understanding of psychosocial hazards (PSHs) and their implications. It explores the concept of PSHs, including their potential impacts, key roles, relevant legislation, and available support systems.
Learning outcomes
- understand the definition of psychosocial hazards (PSH)
- identify the various PSHs present in the workplace
- recognise the consequences and impacts associated with PSHs
- identify the relevant roles and individuals involved
- understand what legislation is related to PSHs
- recognise the roles of PCBU (Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking), workers, etc.
- be aware of available support systems like Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs).
